We know how frustrating it is to have an active subscription suddenly stop—especially when you rely on your products arriving consistently. We want to make sure you have full clarity on what happened, why it happened, and how we can support you moving forward.
What Changed?
Mexican customs has recently enforced a complete prohibition on several categories of products in the nutrition and supplement industry. This enforcement is immediate and absolute, meaning no exceptions or workarounds are permitted.
The categories include:
- Protein or food preparations (this includes many supplements)
- Vitamins and vitamin derivatives
- Medicaments or products making therapeutic claims
How This Impacts Your Orders
Shipments containing these products can no longer clear customs. Any shipment containing these items will be seized by Mexican customs and cannot be cleared for delivery. Because of this:
- We are no longer able to successfully ship affected products into Mexico.
- Subscriptions for customers in Mexico have been cancelled to prevent orders from being sent and ultimately seized.
Why Subscriptions Couldn’t Continue
We want to avoid situations where orders are paid for but never reach you. Since these restrictions block delivery altogether, continuing subscriptions would only result in:
- Packages being seized
- Products never arriving
- Funds not eligible for recovery through shipping insurance
Important Limitations
We want to be transparent so there are no surprises:
- Seized items cannot be returned to us.
- Shipping insurance does not cover customs seizures, so lost packages cannot be reimbursed by the carrier.
- We cannot override or appeal these customs decisions. These rules are set and enforced solely by Mexican customs authorities.
