Generally we recommend taking all supplements with a little food in your stomach, as taking supplements on an empty stomach may cause upset. Grass Fed Whey can be mixed with any liquid as is or added to a smoothie with your choice of ingredients.
The proteins and amino acid nutritional value will not be impacted at all by using a mechanical high speed blender. It is however, whey protein begins to denature and alter its protein structure when exposed to temperatures above 72°C (162°F) for extended periods. It's advisable to keep whey protein temperatures below 60–70°C (140–158°F).
