You may have heard of the "2% rule" when comparing supplement labels and wondering how ingredient amounts are disclosed.
Some manufacturers may rely on FDA labeling regulations that allow certain nutrients present at less than 2% of the Daily Value (DV) per serving to be omitted from the Supplement Facts panel. While this approach may be compliant with labeling regulations, it is not how we approach transparency at Momentous, and does not meet our standard.
The Momentous Standard™
At Momentous, we believe customers deserve complete transparency about what they are putting into their bodies.
As part of The Momentous Standard™, the ingredients and amounts listed on our labels reflect what is actually formulated into the product. We do not observe the 2% rule as a way to exclude ingredients or nutrient amounts from disclosure when they are part of the product formulation.
Our goal is simple: what you see on the label is what is in the product.
Why This Matters
Supplement labels should help customers make informed decisions. By providing clear and accurate ingredient information, we aim to give athletes, professionals, and everyday consumers confidence in exactly what they are taking.
This commitment to transparency is one of the reasons every batch of Momentous products undergoes rigorous quality testing, and many products are independently verified through NSF Certified for Sport®, Light Labs, and SuppCo.
Our Commitment to Transparency
Transparency is a foundational part of The Momentous Standard™. From sourcing and formulation to testing and labeling, we strive to provide accurate information so you can trust that the ingredients and amounts listed on the label reflect the product in your hands.
If you would like to review testing information for your specific batch, you can view the Certificate of Analysis (COA) for your product on our COA page.
